Abstract

The foam-producing equipment uses components remaining intact in the containers after completing the extinguishing operation. The container can then be filled up. The equipment consists of an extinguishing agent container (1), water tank (2) foam-producing compound container (3) and a battery of cylinders (4) containing an inert gas. Pipes from these containers, which are under pressure from the gas in the cylinders (4) are connected to mixing chambers (12, 13) where the three components are mixed to a foam by Venturi-type jets and delivery nozzles (14, 16, 17).
