Abstract

The vehicle shock absorber rod coupling has a flexible annular member (12) between dished washers (7, 9). These washers partly enclose the annular member. The first washer is fixed to the rod (3) by a nut and ring (8) with a small collar (13) pressing on the inside of the second washer (9). This limits the relative displacement of the two washers. The inside of the second washer has a flexible seat (14) on which the annular member (12) also seats.
