Abstract

The movement (1) is suspended in a watch case by a split elastic ring (11) having a frustoconical outer bearing surface (13) cooperating with an inner seat (14) offered by the case body. Thus, the elastic pressure exerted radially by the said ring on the case body is converted into an axial pressure exerted by the ring on an frame (7) encaging the movement, thus tending to apply the latter axially against an inner shoulder (18) of the case body. <IMAGE>
