Abstract

A clutch release bearing assembly includes a stationary race ring (14) having a flange (20), a sliding sleeve (10) having a thrust plate (11) adjacent to the flange (20), and a resiliently deformable ring (23) secured to the thrust plate (11). The ring (23) has arms (27) extending radially inwardly to locate the flange (20) axially and to dampen radial movement of the bearing. <IMAGE>
