Abstract
Two mutually opposite encapsulation ends (1, 3) are detachably connected to one another by means of a coupling device. This coupling device has a tube (5) which is used for opening the encapsulation, is axially displaceable and engages into the one encapsulation end (3) by means of an end (8) which carries a sealing ring (11). The other end of this tube (5), which is provided with a flange (6), is connected to the other encapsulation end (1) in a sealing manner. The sealing ring (11) of the tube end (8) is pressed by a thrust ring (12) against the first-mentioned encapsulation end (3). Spacers (13, 14, 15) are provided between the encapsulation ends (1, 3) in order to limit the mutual mobility of the encapsulation ends (1, 3). These spacers (13, 14, 15) can also be used for the necessary electrically conductive connection of the encapsulation ends (1, 3). In consequence, in addition to good electrical connection of the encapsulation ends (1, 3), their absolutely sealed connection is also ensured. Nevertheless, the encapsulation can be split at the coupling point, since the said tube (5) is displaceable after loosening the screw connection. The coupling point is of economical and space-saving design.
