Abstract
A conducting composition comprises polyethylene, a copolymer of isobutylene and isoprene (e.g. butyl rubber), carbon black and a polyethylene antioxidant (e.g. N,N1-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine). The compositions find application as conductive jackets for electric cables.
