Abstract

Générateur électrochimique comportant un boîtier comprenant un godet métallique fermé par un couvercle métallique avec interposition d'un joint d'étanchéité en contact avec au moins la région périphérique de la face extérieure du couvercle et avec la surface intérieure du godet, le bord de celui-ci étant recourbé vers l'axe du boîtier en comprimant ledit joint Selon l'invention le joint délimite avec la face extérieure du couvercle une cavité annulaire destinée au piégeage d'éventuelles fuites d'électrolyte. Application piles et accumulateurs, notamment à électrolyte alcalin.
