Abstract

Un tel procédé comprend l'extraction de. la barre d'une lingotière de coulée continue par des rouleaux, la coupe à longueur de la barre et son chauffage pour sa transformation ultérieure. Selon l'invention, on déforme la couche superficielle de la barre, avant la coupe à longueur, par au moins une paire de rouleaux opposés et on chauffe la barre ensuite pour produire sur elle une zone marginale recristallisée de plus de 3 mm d'épaisseur par face de barre.
