Abstract

L'invention concerne une roue destinée à servir de support pour un pneumatique et constituée d'un disque ou voile de roue entouré d'une jante. Selon l'invention, pour réduire le coût de fabrication d'une telle roue et accroître la durée de service et sa sûreté, au moins la jante 1 de la roue R est formée d'un profilé composite, constitué essentiellement d'un corps de profilé en métal léger, en alliage d'aluminium ou de magnésium par exemple, et d'un support formant une partie de la surface du profilé, un anneau d'acier par exemple. Le corps de profilé et le support, lequel est situé notamment dans la région de la jonction entre la jante 1 et le disque 4, sont assemblés par une liaison métallique.
