Abstract
L'invention concerne une méthode pour détecter une substance ou une condition toxique. Selon l'invention, on soumet une suspension aqueuse d'un micro-organisme lumineux à un contact avec une substance ou une condition suspectée d'être toxique pour le micro-organisme ; on détecte la lumière à la sortie du micro-organisme lumineux après contact avec la substance; et on compare la lumière à la sortie du micro-organisme lumineux sur ligne de base avant formation du mélange. On utilise un système 10 comprenant un récipient 12 contenant la suspension des micro-organismes lumineux, un détecteur de lumière 14, un amplificateur 16 et un appareil de mesure 18. According to the invention, an aqueous suspension of a luminous microorganism is subjected to contact with a substance or condition suspected of being toxic to the microorganism; the light is detected at the exit of the luminous microorganism after contact with the substance; and comparing the light to the output of the luminous microorganism on the baseline before the mixture is formed. A system 10 is used comprising a container 12 containing the suspension of luminous microorganisms, a light detector 14, an amplifier 16 and a measuring device 18. The invention applies in particular to the examination of water for look for its pollution.
