Abstract

The machine has a frame which straddles rows of plants. It is mounted on two spaced wheels (4) at the rear and one wheel (3) at the front which rolls between rows of female plants. Seats (8) are provided on the frame, each disposed in alignment with a row of female plants. An operator sits on each seat and tops the female plants of the corresponding row progressively as the machine advances in the field. A forked footrest (11) is associated with each seat. The operator rests one foot on each arm of the fork so his legs straddle the row and guide the flowers to him.
