Abstract
L'inventeur se rapporte aux torches à plasma dont la puissance instantanée de l'arc pilote est élevée, sa puissance moyenne restant basse. L'établissement de la différence élevée de potentiel entre l'électrode 10 et la pièce de travail 12 est contrôlée par le thyristor 62 afin de réduire la durée de l'arc. En outre l'inclusion de ce circuit coté torche par rapport au câble 16 évite la propagation des bruits de radiofréquence. L'invention s'applique en particulier aux torches pour soudure.
