Abstract

Soudage. Une source de courant pulsé de soudage comporte deux sources de courant continu montées en parallèle par rapport à l'arc. L'une de ces sources est équipée en redresseur à thyristors et fournit le courant fondamental, l'autre source de courant continu est connectée à l'arc par l'intermédiaire de transistors. Ces derniers permettent de régler la durée et l'amplitude des impulsions de courant. Une telle source de courant se prête particulièrement bien au soudage de tôles minces par le procédé de soudage TIG (soudage à l'arc en atmosphère inerte avec électrode de tungstène).
