L'invention est relative à des développateurs de colorant jaune. Les développateurs sont des ortho, ortho'dihydroxy azométhine (complexes 1:1 ou 2:1 du chrome) répondant aux formules suivantes, dans lesquelles L représente les molécules qui peuvent satisfaire à la sphère de coordination du chrome; x peut être une charge négative ou positive ou une charge zéro suivant la nature de L; -(alkylène)- a de 0 à 6 atomes de carbone; n' est un nombre entier de 1 à 8; m' est 1 ou 2 et M est un cation.
