Abstract
Indicateur de niveau-limite à ultrasons opérant selon le principe des échos, comprenant un transducteur d'ultrasons 1 pour l'émission d'impulsions et la réception des échos réfléchis, et un amplificateur 3 connecté à la sortie du transducteur 1. Un circuit de seuil 5 est connecté à la sortie de l'amplificateur 3 et émet un signal quand le signal issu de l'amplificateur 3 dépasse une valeur de seuil préalablement fixée. L'appareil comporte une chaîne régulatrice de gain 7, 8, 9, 10, entre la sortie de l'amplificateur 3 et une entrée de réglage de gain 3a de celui-ci, pour maintenir le signal de sortie de l'amplificateur 3 à une valeur nominale réglable constante. Un dispositif de commande 4, dans chaque période d'émission, bloque la chaîne régulatrice pendant l'intervalle prévu pour l'émission de l'impulsion ultrasonore et pendant celui prévu pour la réception de l'écho. Application à la détection d'un niveau-limite dans les réservoirs.
