Abstract

Cette invention concerne un mécanisme de transmission composite pour véhicules, comprenant une transmission et un différentiel logés dans un même carter. Un arbre d'entrée s'étendant vers l'arrière à partir du moteur porte un jeu de pignons d'entrée montés concentriquement sur lui. Ces pignons d'entrée engrènent avec un jeu de pignons de renvoi axialement parallèles aux précédents, lesquels engrènent à leur tour avec un jeu de pignons de sortie montés concentriquement sur un arbre de sortie. Celui-ci s'étend vers l'avant au-delà des pignons de sortie pour attaquer un différentiel avant placé au voisinage du moteur et au-dessous de celui-ci. Un agencement de ce type est utilisable de façon avantageuse sur les tracteurs agricoles à quatre roues motrices.
