Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément d'impression d'une imprimante à percussion série permettant de préparer automatiquement l'imprimante à fonctionner dans un mode prédéterminé. L'élément d'impression est constitué par une roue à caractères comprenant un moyeu, plusieurs rayons autour dudit moyeu central, plusieurs éléments de caractère supportés par lesdits rayons et disposés selon une circonférence, une zone codée pour commander le fonctionnement dudit dispositif d'impression qui est décalée par rapport à l'alignement des éléments de caractère, et qui comprend une série d'espaces ouverts et fermés permettant d'identifier l'élément d'impression considéré par des moyens de détection reliés à des moyens de commande d'impression de ladite imprimante. Application aux imprimantes à percussion série fonctionnant avec des éléments d'impressions du type marguerite.
