Abstract
Procédé pour le traitement des gaz d'échappement contenant des oxydes d'azote, de l'oxygène et de la suie. Le procédé, selon l'invention consiste à réduire sélectivement l'oxyde d'azote en azote par addition d'ammoniac en présence d'un catalyseur contenu dans un réacteur de dénitrification 2 sous la forme de plaques 1 dont les surfaces sont parallèles à l'écoulement des gaz arrivant par l'entrée 4 avec l'ammoniac et sortant par la sortie 5 du réacteur, la vitesse linéaire des gaz étant de 4 à 15 m/s et les particules de suie relativement grosses étant préalablement extraites en amont du réacteur par un extracteur de poussière simple, la plus grande partie du reste de la suie etant extraite en aval du réacteur par un collecteur de poussière à rendement élevé. Convient en particulier pour les gaz d'échappement d'une chaudière à mazout ou à charbon ainsi que pour les gaz d'échappement d'autres traitements industriels.
