Abstract
L'invention concerne la récupération de la méthacroléine à partir d'un mélange gazeux obtenu par oxydation catalytique de l'isobutylène. On traite un mélange gazeux contenant de la méthacroléine, de l'isobutylène, O 2 , N2 , CO2 et d'autres gaz inertes, par une masse liquide d'acide acétique, de façon à absorber sélectivement la méthacroléine dans une tour de lavage. L'acide acétique ayant absorbé la méthacroléine est soumis à une distillation fractionnée pour récupérer la méthacroléine. Par oxydation, la méthacroléine peut donner de l'acide méthacrylique qui est un intermédiaire dans la production de polymères.
