Abstract

L'invention concerne une cellule électrolytique monopolaire à diaphragme et à anodes dimensionnellement stables. Les anodes 7 reposent librement sur le fond 1 de cellule et sont sollicitées élastiquement vers les diaphragmes 28 couvrant les cathodes 4 par des bras transversaux élastiques 22 portés par les conducteurs de courant positif 9 qui pressent les anodes, mais sans leur être mécaniquement reliés, et portent contre les anodes sous pression suffisante pour leur transmettre le courant sans pertes notables par effet Joule; ces bras élastiques permettent de retirer les anodes de la cellule pour renouveler leur revêtement sans détruire de soudures ou autres raccordements mécaniques permanents. Application, par exemple, aux cellules d'électrolyse d'halogénures de métaux alcalins.
