Abstract

Le procédé pour produire une fibre optique selon la présente invention consiste à appliquer une matière de revêtement sur une fibre optique directement après l'étirage de cette dernière et avant le contact de celle-ci avec d'autres substances solides et à sécher à chaud ladite matière de revêtement au cours d'une phase consécutive, ladite matière de revêtement consistant en une composition résineuse consistant essentiellement en du 1,2-addition polybutadiène modifié par des radicaux isocyanate et présentant une vitesse de durcissement élevée ou un mélange de ce dernier avec du 1,2-addition polybutadiènediol comportant des radicaux hydroxyle réagissant fortement avec les isocyanates, de l'acide 1,2-addition polybutadiène carboxylique ou du 1,2-addition polybutadiène partiellement oxydé.
