Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer un élément optique en carbonate d'allyle et de diglycol résistant à l'abrasion. Le procédé consiste essentiellement à appliquer sur l'élément optique une solution de revêtement d'un ester d'acide polysilicique hydrolysé en combinaison avec de l'alcool de polyvinyle hydrolysé à environ 90 à 100 %. On applique le revêtement sur au moins une surface de l'élément, on laisse les produits volatils s'échapper de la solution et le revêtement est ensuite cuit à température élevée. Les éléments optiques revêtus par le procédé de l'invention ont une meilleure résistance à l'abrasion.
