Abstract

Appareil gyroscopique dont le rotor monté de manière à avoir trois degrés de liberté comprend une partie mince qui forme un tambour cylindrique en matériau amagnétique et bon conducteur de l'électricité et qui, pour produire des couples pilotes, pénètre dans des champs magnétiques qui forment un courant de Foucault et qui sont produits par un dispositif magnétique placé à une extrémité et ne tournant pas avec le rotor, celui-ci étant monté de manière à pouvoir pivoter autour d'axes de cardan par rapport au dispositif magnétique. Le dispositif magnétique est formé d'une bague d'aimant 10 à polarité radiale et dont l'entrefer 11 qui occupe sa circonférence totale loge le tambour 4. Application notamment aux instruments de navigation.
