Abstract

Gaine flexible imperméable aux gaz, de grande endurance. La gaine est réalisée au moyen de fibres ou de fils a et b d'aramide (polyamides aromatiques) enveloppées dans une couche en hydrocarbure fluoré étanche aux gaz. Les fils sont guipés par un fil à point de fusion plus bas de manière à assurer, par chauffage et/ou pression, un collage des fibres. Pour améliorer l'inflammabilité, on peut mettre une couche de fond en agents de collage et plastifiants, et une couche de recouvrement contenant un plastifiant et un stabilisateur. Pour améliorer la résistance à l'abrasion, on peut noyer dans la couche de recouvrement des grains de silicate, ainsi que des pigments pour absorber les rayons ultraviolets et une matière conductrice pour augmenter la conductibilité électrique. Application aux gaines de conditionnement d'air, ventilation, etc.
