Abstract
The AC switching circuit turns its switch on when the AC voltage supply being switched passes through zero and turns it off after an integral number of waves have passed through the load. The threshold circuit(4) is coupled to the turn-on signal shaper(6) via a logic circuit. The logic circuit consists of a gate(13), two coincidence circuits(15, 19) and a trigger(25). The switching circuit control signal is applied via the input(22) of an inverter(21) to one coincidence circuit and directly to the input of the other coincidence circuit.
