Abstract
a. Dispositif pour la fusion et l'affinage de cuivre brut ou de cuivre noir (blister) comprenant un four à cuve muni d'un alimenteur de charge constituant un sas et un four à sole pour l'affinage du cuivre. b. Les deux fours forment une seule unité de construction, le four à cuve étant disposé sur le four à sole de manière qu'il puisse se former une colonne de cuivre s'appuyant sur le fond du four à sole et formant un talus vers l'extérieur. Des brûleurs orientables vers ledit talus sont placés dans la zone de transition entre les deux fours. c. Ce dispositif permet d'éviter l'attaque du garnissage du four par la scorie et donne un rendement élevé.
