Abstract
Elément pourvu d'une gaine composite résistant mieux à la corrosion sous contraintes. Il comprend: a. un noyau central de combustible nucléaire 16; et b. une gaine composite allongée pour le combustible nucléaire constitué d'un substrat de zirconium 21 ayant une surface, à proximité du combustible nucléaire, revetue d'un métal et d'une barrière de diffusion 22 en oxyde de zirconium entre le substrat de zirconium et le revêtement de métal 23 en cuivre, nickel, fer ou leurs alliages. Application aux réacteurs nucléaires.
