Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'obturation des trous de drainage de fours à phosphore. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à appliquer une pression pneumatique au niveau de l'ouverture du trou de drainage pour repousser le matériau fondu hors de l'alésage de ce trou, vers le four, puis à introduire des particules de sable dans cet alésage, lesquelles particules provoquent la solidification du matériau fondu qui, par suite, obture l'ouverture intérieure de l'alésage. Le reste de l'alésage est rempli de sable. Le drainage se fait par soufflage du sable et par destruction du bouchon intérieur de matériau fondu. Application à la métallurgie.
