Abstract

Dispositif pour obturer de façon étanche l'intervalle existant entre deux organes rotatifs l'un par rapport à l'autre et délimitant une cavité interne d'où les fuites vers l'extérieur sont empêchées par un élément d'étanchéité disposé dans ledit intervalle, caractérisé en ce qu'un élément d'étanchéité supplémentaire 14 est disposé dans ledit intervalle, à l'extérieur par rapport à l'élément d'étanchéité 13 qui ferme la cavité interne 12, en ce qu'un conduit 20 d'amenée de graisse, relié à une source de graisse sous pression, débouche dans la cavité 19 dudit intervalle située entre l'élément d'étanchéité 13 qui ferme la cavité interne 12 et l'élément d'étanchéité supplémentaire 14, et en ce que la résistance que l'élément d'étanchéité suyplémentaire 14 oppose au passage de la graisse vers l'exterieur est inférieure à la résistance au passage de la graisse présentée par l'élément d'étanchéité 13 qui ferme la cavité interne 12. On peut ainsi, notamment, empêcher toute pénétration de poussière dans les têtes de havage.
