Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un écran luminescent pour tubes cathodiques à image couleur dans lequel on dépose par voie photochimique sur la plaque avant en verre des tubes, au moins deux dessins juxtaposés de couches de substances luminescentes et on dépose également par voie photochimique, au moins entre un dessin de couche luminescente et la plaque avant, un dessin de couche filtrante essentiellement superposée à la couche luminescente correspondante. Selon l'invention, on applique d'abord et on seche une couche filtrante transparente sous forme d'une suspension aqueuse de substance filtrante et d'un liant sensibilisé au moyen d'un premier sensibilisateur, on expose ensuite uniformément cette couche filtrante pendant une courte durée et on applique ensuite et on sèche une couche transparente de substance luminescente sous forme d'une suspension aqueuse de substance luminescente et d'un liant sensibilisé au moyen d'un second sensibilisateur, on expose ensuite la couche de substance luminescence à travers un masque placé en amont présentant le dessin désiré et on élimine ensuite dans une étape de lavage les portions non exposées de la couche de substance luminescente et les portions sous-jacentes de la couche filtrante.
