Abstract
The pyrotechnic fuse comprises a body (7) made from a light metal, for example an aluminium alloy. This body has on the inside and outside the shape of a stepped roll, having two cylindrical housings (8, 9) separated by an internal wall (10). A delay charge (11) is located in the housing (8) of smaller diameter, and a primer charge (14) is housed in the internal wall extending in line with the said step. This wall has a larger thickness than that of the annular part (15) forming the step in the bottom of the housing (9) forming the step in the bottom of the housing (9) of larger diameter, so as to brake, during combustion of the delay charge, the flow of heat towards the explosive charge (21), and to promote this flow towards the primer charge (14). This fuse can be used in rifle grenades.
