Abstract
In a system for the production of hot water by solar heat collectors, a controllable gas-fired water heater is added to the circuit. The operation of this heater is controlled by probes which measure the temp. difference of the water before and after passing through. The system has the advantage of minimum heat losses and of saying a second storage tank. The controlled gas-fired heater keeps the temp. steady in spite of fluctuations of the solar collector output.
