Abstract
After the heat-exchanger has been filled with heating medium heated in the solar heat collector, circulation of the medium is blocked until this portion of the medium has largely given up its heat to the stored water. Circulation is then released until the cooled medium has been conducted away from the heat-exchanger, when it is replaced by a following flow of heated medium, for a repetition of the process. There is one heat sensor in the solar heat collector in the area of the run-in pipe socket and a second near the hot water store in the heat-exchanger's return connection, the sensors being effectively linked to the circulating pump so that this is switched off until the returning heating medium has cooled to a prescribed temperature differential relative to the run-in.
