Abstract
PURPOSE: To unnecessitate a stand of high strength and improve fitting stability by a method wherein a hot-water storage tank is arranged below a heat collector and a check valve is arranged in a circulation loop.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collector 1 is arranged slantingly, a hot-water storage tank 3 is arranged below the heat collector 1, and the two are interconnected by pipes 9 and 10 to constitute a circulation loop for water (hot water), with a check valve 11 fitted in the midway of the pipe 9. The check valve 11 is so designed that a bimetallic strip 13 bends to open a valve 15 when it is heated by solar radiation and recovers its straight shape to close the valve 15 when it is cooled after sunset. Accordingly, a stand of high rigidity is not necessay, the overall dimensions are reduced, stability is enhanced, and the production cost is reduced.
