Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour le raffinage de masses fondues à base de fer. Selon ce procédé, on réalise un chauffage à l'aide d'un courant continu simultanément au dégazage et à la désulfuration électro-chimique, la préparation de la masse de fer s'effectuant simultanément Pour cela, on utilise des électrodes 2, 3 et 4 reliées à une source de courant continu 16. Les anodes 3, 4 se trouvent à l'intérieur de la masse en fusion tandis que la cathode 2 est à l'extérieur. Les produits entrant dans la composition de la masse ou pour son traitement sont amenées par la trémie 11 tandis que le gaz inerte est insufflé par le tube 5. L'invention permet un déroulement en continu des procédés de raffinage.
