Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to form easily and efficiently by anode oxidizing an alloy object containing specific metal to form a thin film of ceramic-based superconductive material on the surface of the alloy object.
CONSTITUTION: Anode oxidizing an alloy object containing at least a metal of the rare-earth elements, the surface of the alloy object is oxidized, the metal on the surface of the alloy object is oxidized, and a thin film of ceramic-based superconductive material is formed on the surface of the alloy object. The anodic oxidation is a process in which a metal or the like as an anode is immersed in an appropriate electrolyte, a voltage is applied between the anode and a cathode, and an oxidation film is formed on the anode metal surface by the reaction between the anode metal and oxygen or electrolytic anion produced on the anode. This makes it possible to form the thin film of superconductor in the form of plate (substrate), line, tape, coil, etc., easily and efficiently.
