Abstract

La présente invention concerne une articulation sphérique pour les véhicules automobiles. Suivant l'invention, une articulation comprend un carter 1, un tourillon de sphère 2, une tête sphérique 4 et un coussinet 3. La surface de logement de la sphère 4 comprend au moins une zone 5 à coefficient de frottement plus élevé dont le diamètre est égal à une fraction du diamètre de la sphère et dont le centre se situe sur l'axe de rotation du mouvement le plus facile de la rotule. L'invention s'applique à la direction ou à la suspension des roues des véhicules automobiles.
