Abstract

L'invention a trait à un corps cylindrique oblong, en particulier un câble électrique ou optique, et à un appareil de fabrication d'un tel corps. Elle a pour objet un corps cylindrique oblong, comportant une armure concentrique longitudinale de fils espacés les uns des autres, sensiblement parallèles à l'axe du corps ou enroulés hélicoïdalement en S ou en Z ou ondulés en S-Z autour du corps, et un ou plusieurs rubans de serrage enroulés et facultativement une gaine protectrice extérieure. Le ou les rubans de serrage utilisés sont munis, avant ou après l'application, d'indentations dans tous ou certains des espaces entre fils. Application notamment à la fabrication de câbles électriques ou optiques.
