Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé et un appareillage pour la mesure, à l'aide d'un chromatographe à gaz isostatique, de la perméabilité d'une paroi à l'égard d'un gaz ou d'une vapeur ou des deux. On fait circuler un gaz de référence (à la même pression que le gaz contenu dans le corps creux à vérifier) autour de ce corps, puis dans la spirale à échantillon d'un chromatographe; on injecte périodiquement le gaz (de préférence) de cette spirale, rendu impur, dans le courant de gaz vecteur d'un chromatographe pour un examen qualitatif et mesure quantitative de l'impureté (gaz qui s'est échappé de l'intérieur du corps creux). Le procédé est applicable à la vérification de l' étanchéité de divers emballages.
