Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un clavier auxiliaire 36 adapté pour être monté sur le clavier 24 d'une machine de bureau, comprenant un carter 38 comportant un ensemble d'orifices 50 superposés à des touches de commande correspondantes 26 du clavier de la machine de bureau. Une carte 52 porteuse de légendes et comportant des orifices 54 dans des positions prédéterminées est placée sur le carter 38, les orifices 54 pratiqués dans la carte étant superposés à certains orifices 50 du carter 38 pour permettre la mise en place d'une touche 58 auxiliaire amovible dans les orifices alignes de la carte 52 et du carter 38 afin qu'elle entre en contact avec la partie supérieure de la touche de commande correspondante 26 du clavier de la machine de bureau pour la commander. Lorsqu'on retire les touches auxiliaires 58 du carter 38, on peut placer d'autres cartes 52 sur le carter 38 pour changer la configuration et les légendes des touches du clavier, ce qui permet différents modes d'utilisation pour le clavier.
