Elément d'isolement électrique d'un dispositif optoélectronique photocoupleur constitue notamment d'un écran situé perpendiculairement à l'axe optique de l'émetteur et du récepteur de lumière formant ledit dispositif photocoupleur. Elément caractérisé en ce que ledit écran est constitué d'une substance thermoplastique transparente. Application à la réalisation de dispositifs photocoupleurs utilises notamment en téléphonie.
