Abstract

The sliding termination clamp, used to fix electrical appts. to a profiled current rail, has a fixation nose at one end and a pre-tensioning heel at the other. It is made of resilient plastics, with its central section acting as biasing means for holding it in either stable clamping or released positions. Pref. the central section has at least one thin tongue, the length of which is greater than that of the nose or the heel, for providing transverse elasticity. Two such tongues maybe separated by a longitudinal slot.
