Abstract

The clamps hold the extremities of two strips of plushy material and are fixed on either side of the sole of the ski. Each clamp has a notched knife-edge part on either side to prevent lateral slipping of the ski. The clamps are fastened to the ski by two threaded parts, one of which is fixed to one jaw of the clamp and the other is tightened by rotation of the screw on the exterior of the jaw. The notched knife edges are inclined relative to the ski surface towards the front of the ski, such that they tend to prevent backward movement of the skis.
