Abstract

The mechanism for preventing crossing of skis during skiing consists of a spring wire bow which can be pushed down by pressure against a resisting force. It extends transversely over the ski, and its ends fit into corresponding bearing slots extending from either sied of the ski. Both bearing slots are offset in relation to each other along the ski. The bow (2) may be adjusted when in its turned down position. The inturned shanks at the ends of the bow are moved along the bearing slots to the clamping position in which the bow is held upright.
