Abstract

The ski shoe for long-distance skiing has an extension (8) to the sole at the front which engages into a ski binding piece (6) fixed to the ski. The ski binding piece is pref. designed as a clamp. The sole extension (8) has a shoulder on which rests a locking piece in the form of a hook belonging to the ski binding and holding the sole extension (8) in the ski binding piece (6). The shoulder has a front with a less thick part (30) situated on the sole extension between the shoe and that part of the sole extension (8) which is inserted into the clamp of the ski binding. The front bottom crosswise edge and/or the back top crosswise edge is slanting on the front part of the sole extension inserted into the clamp of the ski binding.
