Abstract

Machine permettant de faire des bottes de roseau de toutes longueurs, soigneusement calibrées, serrées, liées et débarrassées des déchets et des herbes. Elle comprend un ensemble de courroies qui maintiennent les brins de roseau pendant le peignage mécanique et la coupe à longueur. Des tasseurs pressent le roseau contre une vanne réglabe qui détermine la taille de la botte. Un diviseur interrompt l'arrivée des roseaux pendant que les griffes introduisent la gerbe dans le canal de compression de la presse. Dans celle-ci les roseaux sont comprimés entre un piston mu hydrauliquement et un panneau pendant le liage. Un panneau est ensuite replié et la botte éjectée. Un tasseur vibrant égalise les brins de roseau au pied de la botte. Cette machine est destinée en particulier à la confection de bottes de roseau permettant la pose rationnelle de couvertures en chaume.
