a. Procédé de purification. b. On purifie un gaz résiduaire en solution aqueuse en y envoyant de l'oxygène et en ajoutant comme catalyseur un charbon actif passé au four, en atmosphère inerte ou réductrice, au-dessus de 1 000 degrés C puis refroidi. c. Elimination de l'anhydride sulfureux.
