Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie de l'électrolyse. Extraction électrolytique de nickel d'un électrolyte dans une cellule comportant une cathode insoluble et une anode insoluble, celle-ci étant caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un substrat de titane, zirconium ou tantale, qui porte successivement un voile d'un métal du groupe du platine et une couche de bioxyde de plomb, l'électrolyte étant caractérisé en ce qu'il contient en solution, outre le nickel, un composé de manganèse en une quantité correspondant à au moins 0,1 g/l de manganèse. Le bioxyde de manganèse qui se forme à l'anode inhibe la dissolution du plomb de l'anode et la contamination par le plomb du dépôt de nickel électrolytique.
