Abstract

Procédé pour fondre et enlever une barbe formée sur un produit fabriqué à partir d'un matériau métallique. On engendre un arc entre la barbe comme première électrode et une autre électrode s'étendant à une certaine distance de la barbe le long de celle-ci et on forme un champ magnétique ayant un flux magnétique orienté en travers de l'arc pour entraîner l'arc le long de la barbe par une force électromagnétique. Ebarbage rapide de produits métalliques finis sans les détériorer.
