Abstract

Procédé et installation pour la séparation d'eau à partir d'un gaz humide. Ce procédé comporte les opérations suivantes : a. Compression du gaz humide; b. Refroidissement du gaz humide comprimé; c. Détente adiabatique de l'air humide. L'ordre des opérations a et c étant quelconque. L'installation comporte au moins un compresseur 1, 2 pouvant être actionné par un moteur, pour comprimer le gaz humide, au moins un réfrigérant 6, 7 pour le refroidissement du gaz comprimé, au moins une machine à détente (détendeur) 3 pouvant être actionnée par moteur, pour la détente adiabatique du gaz humide refroidi et comprimé, et un premier séparateur d'eau 8 pour séparer l'eau du gaz détendu adiabatiquement. Applications à l'extraction d'eau à partir de l'air atmosphérique et au séchage des gaz.
